The Gerry Nevins Foundation

The Gerry Nevins Foundation was created to serve the needs of widows and widowers in Orange and Rockland counties who have recently lost their spouse. It provides
financial assitance for 3 months to help families meet their rent or mortgage payments.

The Foundation honors the life and death of Gerry Nevins, a Firefigher who perished on
September 11, 2001. It is a non-profit organization staffed solely by volunteers, allowing all funds to be distributed to eligible widows and widowers.
